Your 02s will fluctuate greatly during normal driving...most tuners check 02s at WOT - they usually look for a range about .910 - .930.

I suggest you go here
http://www.gp-owners.com/
go to the forum and search for LS1M, Autotap, or scan tool. There is a wealth of info there...too much info to go over here.

Congrats on getting a scan tool. Most just mod blindly. Take the time to learn it...it will tell you a lot about your car.

In the meantime scan for KR (Knock Retard). Any KR means the computer is sensing knock in your engine and retarding the timing. Too much knock and you can lose a piston (unless it's false knock, but that's another story). You need to eliminate this before you even think about going to a smaller pulley and increasing boost. Despite what you've seen, most otherwise stock GTPs will have KR on a 3.4 on 91 octane...and even some modded ones. Getting a handle on KR is the key to making good HP with the SC 3800.

Here's a FWI - MAF in LB/MIN is how much incoming air is sensed by the Mass Airflow Sensor. Any mod that will increase air flow should increase power. MAF will be the highest at the highest RPM...so just before the shifts should give you the highest MAF reading. If you think about it, this should give you a good indication of whether a mod works or not. Scan your car stock and use this as a baseline.

This is just a start...the more mods you do the more invaluable a scan tool becomes.
