question on kc and kr
i have the ls1m and was reading my car and noticed .69 kc and was wondering if that was normal, and what are you o2s supposed to be at

when i have scanned my car both kc and kr are dead 0.00 and hardly move, i know its rich to it backfires a little since the new exhaust

KC = Knock Count. There is a criteria for Knock Counts...something like X amount of knock per sec = 1 count, but I can't recall exactly. This means that just because you don't have Knock Counts doesn't mean you won't have KR.
KR won't usually show up until you are in a high load situation...like jumping on the throttle. If you do have 0 KR all the time consider yourself lucky, many GTPs suffer from part throttle KR issues. |
