Question weird noise ??

when i turn my car off there is a clunking noise comming from the motor...it kinda sounds like the motor is spinning after the motor turns off...it dosent sound good and i was wondering if i should have it checked out.

well if it doesn't sound good and shouldn't be making any sound at all then yes I would recommend having it checked out.

The clunking noise could be the motor dieseling, witch means running for a second after you turn it off. I would check the timing. Thats all i can think of.
