Help! Car won't start.
93 civic wont start. all electrical parts (internal/external lights, dash lights, power locks/windows) dead as well. wont even crank when i turn the key. not even the slightest sound. horn is the only thing that works. brand new battery. tried push starting, jump starting, no luck. please give this idiot detailed info on possible causes of this. thanks

Re: Help! Car won't start.
could be alternator, check all of your fuses and your starter.

it shouldn't be the altenator cause things would still turn on from the juice in the battery. Check all your fuses and that fun junk

Re: Help! Car won't start.
i agree, even if alternator dead, with a new battery fully charged, things should work.
Check black ground wire where it connects to the negative battery to the chassis for rust. sand and clean if rusted. also check for loose connections, and your fuses. |
