Need Advice for My NSX

I need to know if I should paint the top of my NSX black or leave it the body color (pure white). Tell me what you think.

I like the black roof cars!
I'd go with a black roof and a carbon hood and wing.

I'm doing mine (Avex/Mugen NSX) with metalic orange body and blue roof/hood/rear deck.

I say do it my way. Paint it black, or if you can, do the hood, roof, and wing in carbon fiber.

Re: Need Advice for My NSX

The car was designed to have a black top... It looks better like that! But if you built it race-style (rear wing), all white would be better, I feel (a question of visual balance).
But don't pay attention to what we say: do it the way YOU want!

I just finished my NSX, white with black roof, gunmetal TE37's. I'll post pics later. But, however you build it, build it how you like.

Re: Need Advice for My NSX

Just FYI, NSXs all came from the factory with a black-painted roof from September 1990 until 1994. In 1994, for green cars only, the rooves were color-matched. In 1995, all colors were color matched.

A black roof became an option again, available on all colors, in the Japanese market after the facelift change in 2003.

So, are you making a pre-'95 or post-'02 car?

IMO, black roof on a white car, especially on a car with as much greenhouse glass as the NSX, is sweeeeet.

I've been pretty meh about Honda lately, especially since my Civic was stolen, but I will ALWAYS love the NSX.

Re: Need Advice for My NSX

i think white will bring out the cuts more. However, a purple one is awsome.

Re: Need Advice for My NSX

i voted for matching the bodycolor. look at your sig.. could you change a thing on that beauty??

I think the black top only looks good w/ very specific application. maybe on something like what vegetta described.. that sounds like it would look good, but not on your white one IMO

here's mine
