Unhappy chev cavalier

Chev Cavalier

Hi! I am hoping someone can help me. The head is gone on my cavalier. I am looking for the torque pattern for the head.

Re: chev cavalier

I don't own one, but in general, you torque heads starting at the center and work your way to the outside edges. I've heard it's best to go clockwise, but I can't tell the difference. Hope it helps.
Oh yeah, you also have to tighten them to a certain lb-ft. I'm not going to throw out numbers on that because that's touchy, and I bet it's an aluminum head.
