whats the difference in these tire sizes

my car came with 235-60-16 tires can i replace them with 225-60-16. and if so is there that much of a difference in these two different tire sizes

225/60R16 is a 26.6" diameter

235/60R16 has a 27" diameter.

At 60mph your speedo will read 58.9mph
