Unhappy GTI Story

I had a 2002 GTI 1.8T and the flywheel went bad after 2 yrs. My brother has the same car and he drives his harder than my. Mine was stock his has a boost controler, intake, and has a coil overs. VW isn't going to fix it under warranty. I babied this thing and it goes bad. Did anyone else have this problem.
