97 Coolant Issues
I have been having great issues with my coolant. It has been flushed a couple times in the past year and yet the coolant appears to be disgusting in appearance. When I had my Lumina in for the power steering recall the technician told me that the coolant was turning to sand in the lines. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

Re: 97 Coolant Issues
You should make sure that only distilled water is used in the 50/50 mixture. Other than that you might want to get your radiator "rodded out" for a truly clean cooling system. I've also seen a new product by Prestone(no affiliation) that is designed to better flush the radiator at home.
