Talking R31 skyline drift pickup...

My latest project is an R31 skyline drift pickup based on a coupe shell I screwed up....
I'll have pics on saturday. I'm using the original rear pillars but they are raked back closer to vertical and moved forward to about where the back of the doors are. I have no idea how I am going to fabricate a bed or inner wheelarches, rear window will be flat, clear styrene. I may use the passage GTS style open grille to create confusion
Its mainly a vehicle for me to work on my putty skills a little.
I think I will 2 tone it, not sure on colors yet.
Don't have any wheels yet, but I'm thinking something big and dished is in order... May pinch the bersario 19"s from my benz 300CE, but the benz looks so good...

my "concept art"...which is very close to how it actually looks....

Re: R31 skyline drift pickup...

Dead in the water about 18 months ago I'm afraid. Just too much fabrication in the tray area for me at the time.
