4gn4drSi swap

I cracked my d15 block,and i bought a d16 engine from a friend for $200.00.The engine comes with all injectors fuel rail manifolds and everything, execept for the pm6 ecu.My car its a automatic and i wanted to know what else i need to do the swap.And if my d15 lx tranny will work with the d16 engine.

you will have to get a pm6 (got one if ya need it) and yes the a6 will bolt up to your tranny no mods required with that. Also to wire in a pm6 to your car all you need to do is get a resistor box and run 4 wires to change it from 2 to 4 injectors.

you need a pm6 from and AUTO, your tranny will bold up fine, but of course the Si tranny will bring out the full power of your engine.

but the si tranny is 5 speed, so he would have to go with the dx tranny, unless he wanted to convert it to a 5-speed

there are very few AT si's...except for in canada (SiZ tells us). since you said you have AT you need to find an AT ecu. the EX civic sedan has a d16a6 and many came AT. so, you need to try and find an EX AT ecu. if you really wanted to get the most out of it, try and find yourself an EX tranny as well...could probably find them together.

since the EX had the d16a6, it's tranny is the closest thing to a Si tranny as you're going to get with an AT
