electric fan

was wondering if the newer silverados have electric fans, mine is a 2000 5.3. or if i can take one off a camaro, any insight is appreciated.

flex-a-lite makes direct-fit fans for the newer silverados with the V8 engines. 282 and 295 are the series numbers. I bought the 295 series the other day from summitracing and am currently waiting on them to arrive. cant wait to get em!!

What's the difference between the two models? I thought the 282 was the top of the line.

the 282 is the newest model. it is the dual 15" fans.
