Thumbs up Has anyone ever seen these?

I've had this pamphlet on the F1 for many years now. Some of the info is a little outdated, but i thought I would share it anyways. I had to reduce the images in size since the originals where extemely hi-res. This single pamphlet is part of a collection of 100 or so cars.

I've also got the same type of thing, same pics, from a book called Sports Cars that I picked up at Barnes & Noble.

I have that as well, and I even have the one for the Light Car Company Rocket.

Some day when I break down and buy a scanner I'll owe you guys a few things.

Re: Has anyone ever seen these?

Cool, I wonder if those are by the same people as the ones I posted, seeing as how some of the pictures are the same.

There are laws that allow McLarens to be imported and registered in the USA now. I could explain in more detail later, or someone else here can. If you care to do a Google search, or a search of this forum you can look up "Show & Display" or "FMVSS" which stands for 'Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards'.

They were never "not allowed" because of their speed, only because they weren't originally designed to comply with the US Government's Federal Safety Standards when it comes to occupant and vehicle safety items. That doesn't mean the car was unsafe, just that it didn't conform to the letter of the law then. It had nothing to do with how fast the car is though.
