Took me 2 minutes to find a model shop in Kuala Lumpur!!!

Hi to you all from Hot and Humid Malaysia!!!
Staying in the most superb Hotel, just over the road from a Tamiya stockist! You know me!
They have just about every kit I have ever wanted in my collection, but space is too much of a premium, so I have had to turn down buying any!
Plus, they are the same price as in the UK, i.e. expensive!!!
They do have every Tamiya tool and filler available though, so I treated myself to some true epoxy putty, the type I have never seen before!!!
On the real car front, this is the home to 'Proton', and don't I know it! Can't move for them!
If you are a 'rude boy' here, you drive a Proton GTI with jap spec exhaust and big rims!!!
They drive on the same as the UK too!
I can't start modelling until I arrive in Melbourne on Wednesday, until then I plan to keep in touch!
Enjoy the modellin guys, be online with you again soon!

Regards, a holidaying Dan G!

Guys, I am now in Australia!
Spent the last day in Malaysia model sjopping, and contrary to what I said, I couldn't help but buy a kit! I went for the Mazda 787B LeMans car from 1991!
I took some great pics! They had a 1/12 scale McLaren F1 road car! A bargain at £336!!!
Also a 1/12 Merc CLK GTR in D2 colours. This was £300!
The model shop in the Petronas Tower shopping complex had pretty much EVERY Tamiya kit you can get! How cool is that!

Unfortunately I left my USB cable for the camera at the Hotel in Malaysia, so you will have to wait a few days until I find another one, or I buy a smartcard reader!

Also, Melbourne ROCKS for cars! SO far I have seen...

Ferrari 360 Spider
Ferrari 360 Modena
Ferrari 355s
Lamborghini Diablo Roadster
Numerous Skyline R33 GTRs
Lancer EVOs of all descriptions!

well, hi Dan!

Having a good time, aren't you? Which kit did you buy? And when are you planning to get back to the beloved Europe?

I am here for 4 weeks, so ages yet!

My cousin bought me a kit today too, and all the paints! I just don't know how I will ever get it all back in the suitcase!

She bought me this...

And this is the kit I bought in Malaysia!

Dan does it hurt when all the blood rushes to you head from being upside down all the time now? When you flush a toilet does something feel 'wrong'?
