For real contest. Don't sweat it, this one is laid back.

Ok, so I jokingly suggested a poseur car contest, but some of you guys seemed to really like the idea.

The idea is this: build a model of a car that's a faker, a poseur, a wanna be performance car with mismatched panels, random stickers and other silly stuff. Keep in mind: this is a fun contest! Don't break the bank over this (unless you SERIOUSLY want to, I won't turn away great models, but really who cares on this one?).

Ok, so the contest officially underway or whatever. Deadline for completed (I'm not even going to to attempt to define that) entry is August 1st. Voting will be August 2-5 (everyone gets one vote, the car pulling in the most votes wins, and I will be watching for sneaky cheater stuff so don't do it suckas!). Everyone who builds a Civic gets +1 on their vote count because... because it's my damn contest and I want to make all the Nissan fools feel superior. Those are all the rules. I will provide the winner an APC decal for their 1:1. Every few weeks I will post a reminder, because my assumption is this will be something that gets worked on real halfassedly and slowly and probably won't get started for a while. Otherwise, try to keep the posting down I don't want the moderators getting all uppity with me. Or not. Whatever.

And yes, I will be entering, for kicks.

Dude. Even I have time to slap together a poorly-primered car.

Amasing response. Think I should move up the end date? I don't. I don't feel like rushing my masterpeice.....

Oh, and RB26CETT-GTR, not to call you out as you undoubtledy just happened to be the first to say it, but I've been purposefully trying to avoid using that word to describe these cars. I'd really like this to stay a contest, and not become a fight over what food staple we shouldn't call cars. Nothing against you, I honestly don't care one way or another, but some do and I'm just trying to nip a potentially bad situation in the bud.
