My past weekend project

Just thought I'd share my weekend project with everyone....

before..

During..

after..

Just needed minor drilling and cutting, Found out the hard way that the dash was a '89 and mine is a '90. Got it done with a '91 CRX cluster hood swap and fabbed the cluster mounting brackets. Anyone need a '88 HF cluster??

good work man. I just took out my dash this week for school. Not as hard as i expected it to be but still a bit challenging. Good work with the rex dash though.

Re: My past weekend project

Nice! I want to do some fiberglass work to my dash. See where the gauges are on the REX, that round lip above it? Well do a lip like that or extend that one to the other side of the car (passenger side). I dont like that little area where you can put stuff, etc. Also mold some of my PSI gauges in there, put a lcd, or something..

Thanks for the replys guys, I'm really stoked on the way it came out. Next step is to make the gauges light up amber. I'll also point out that I cut the plastic e-brake cover thing to fit so I could keep the rear ashtray (even though nobody smokes in my car)

It's cause your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car

That swap is a bitch to do... no so much the difficulty, but taking everything out and putting it all back in, without breaking anything... too time consuming for me.
But it looks good
