Subaru Impreza 1993 speakers

Hi there!! I recently bought some 6 1/2" speakers for my subaru impreza Wagon 1993. I only had 2 in front and was very tired of not having 2 others on the back. When i release the plastic shield at the back of the car to put the speakers in. "WHAT THE /&/$(%!!" it seems that there is not stud that fits the bolt circle of a standard 6 1/2" speaker. Can you tell me what to do?? do i have the make a mounting plate for it or something like this? Thank you ! bye

i have a 94 inpreza that had two speakers when i got it i replaced the front two and put two in the back. if your car is the same as mine then you just need to use the template that comes with the speakers to cut out the particle board behind the rear seats. You dont need to make a mounting plate or bracket or anything. It will mount right on the particle board. its a pain in the ass but its not that hard. if your car is not like mine then jsut forget this whole thing

Thanks!! when you say "particle board" do you mean the plastic board?? do you have a wagon impreza or a sedan?? i have a wagon so it's not the same mounting than the sedan. bye
