Boost your engine or spray it for a chance to nudge ahead. Base turbo-kitted sohc's give me a run for my money, so on his ls with taller gears.. pray he misshifts

Re: ls turbo vs b16 all motor

nope. you dont have enough to hang at all. for an all motor car to be as fast as a turbo ride, id say at least 3x as much work needs to be done in order for you to compete. race em for fun and see how bad you lose, maybe he'll misshift, or wont get traction, dont race em for slips tho.

Re: ls turbo vs b16 all motor

hey crxlvr...how much hp do you think that guy with the t3 turbo setup with hondata on his b18b will have? Just a round-about answer is ok.

Re: ls turbo vs b16 all motor

Maybe if he ran low boost and u had like a really nice vtec head put on, maybe some high comp pistons and milled the head. But ive heard milling the head too much can be bad. Also, quick side question, do u need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator if u have the vafc controller

Re: ls turbo vs b16 all motor

Yea sorry man but with 210whp as soon as the turbo spools he will own you. The best thing for the B16 IMHO is a turbo kit, you will gain alot of tq as well as hp, but the biggest down side to the B16 is the low tq numbers, I mean they are way low IMO. Boost the B16 and you will own him
