1987 Max engine mounts

Need engine mounts for 1987 maxima with auto tran.
How many does it take and also may need tran mount.
Where can I find cheap.

There are four. The mount that is the closest to the driver gets mixed up a lot. That one in particular should be taken in and matched up. Depending on whether or not you have the wagon, sport or regular the two threaded shafts may be even or offset. Also, these mount are pretty spending. At least they were seven years ago when I changed mine. They do make some non-Nissan brand that work just fine. Try going to one of those "Japanese parts places". They're cheaper. If you can't find one utilize a friend that might be a mechanic who can get them for you. The Nissan brands were around $100 a piece. You should replace them, but chances are your tranny is already shot, or on its way out. Sorry.
