cold air intake
I was thinking of putting a new air intake on my car and noticed that my stock air intake has 2 tubes connected to it. While i was looking at aftermarket intakes i noticed that they only had 1 tube connected to it. What is that tube and should i find an air intake with that estra tube or not? thanks

Re: cold air intake
One of the tubes go to the block. It is a breather hose and *you do need it!*. The other one is completely useless, just plug up the hole with something to prevent water from getting in.

Re: cold air intake
Broken Record here Your stock intake should have a control diagphragm that will become useless as Aces said just plug it up and make sure the hose doesn't get wrapped in anything.
