A days work down the drain

I always wanted to consider my self as the customizer , but today, my inginuity was questioned. For those who knew, I was given an infinity J30 as a down payment for my Trans-am, so I decided to rip off everything I needed from it before taking it to the Auction next week. First up was the LSD which took me the whole of yesterday to swap with my 240s'. I was alone and working on the floor, damn those things are heavy, crushed my hand badly, but brushed it off.
Today I had a bright Idea , why not switch the hubs also cause I need the ABS sensor holes, thats why I just didn't switch the spindle. Turned out that the struts of the J30 were a little larger, so I came up with another bright Idea, why not switch the whole assembly then. I had to switch the strut mounts, the spring nearly broke my hand, so I went and rented a strut compressing tool from AutoZ. after I swapped the S.mounts, I went on the task of putting them on with a big smile on my face thinking of how much of a genius I was .
AFTER ALL THIS SHIT, IT TURNED OUT THAT THE 240 STRUT IS SHORTER AND THE TIE ROD END IS SMALLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Straight to the point, now I have to reverse what I have done for the last 5hrs, OR, spend money I dont have to finish the conversion, the whole purpose was not to spend any money since I am jobless, ain't that some shit?
On the bright side of things, I now have a free VLSD, and the money from it should add to whatever price I sell the damn car for, but I am a pesimist, and pissed off is when I think better. Now I have to look for someone to trade a J30 LSD for a Q45 or ZX turbo LSD, don't want the J30s' gearing.
Oh, by the way, anyone with 240SX SE Hubs for sale??? how much???? I would like to buy them, all the local yards are out of them.

Check out jspec.com's new shipment here http://www.jspec.com/newshipment.html and look towards the bottom of that page. They have some 5 lug hubs that they just got in.

Re: A days work down the drain

I am looking for the 5 lug w/ABS mounting points, do not want to loose or go through the hassel of removing my ABS.
Thanks SPEC, will contact them for maybe the Z32 Brembo rotors but they want $200 for the Hubs, AND THEY ARE USED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! will keep looking at the local yards, price is at most $80 a pair.
