Drop Progress on 94 Accord

-Original Post-

Okay, so on advice from most people on this board, I decided to do the drop myself. Removing the strut was cake, but putting the spring compressor on was a BITCH (about an hour and 15 with just dealing with the spring). So anyway, I pulled the strut out, but the dust cover (cylinder thingy) came off, as well as 2 other items. One is almost like a rubber mushroom with a metal stem...

The other is just a metal washer. I need help because I don't know in what order these go on. I only have one jack so I can't remove the other side and inspect it yet. Thanks in advance,

Awaiting your answer so I can get back to work =)

-New Topic-

I thought I'd change this post so I can update everyone on the progress of the drop.

Re: Strut Reassembly Emergency

This should help . . . .http://www.binghamtonlife.com/manual...s/91-18-18.jpg

Nothing like owning a repair manual www.helminc.com

Dont forget to have an alignment done after you finish lowering. Most people seem to think it's not really important.

Thanks, I managed to get the two I posted about on correctly, but just noticed while doing the driver's side that I had fucked up the top washer =( Now I have to jack it back up and redo it. Hopefully I won't need to use the spring compressor this time, since it hasn't been down for very long.

Other than that, it is going pretty well. Spring compressor wasn't so difficult the second time around, but I still hate this fucking thing =P
