Smile My new Truck

Just bought my new 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD ext cab 4by4 4.10 ratio, Locking Dif, with HD trailoring package, Snow plow prep package!!! I friggin love it!!! I feel like a little kid coming down the stairs at christmas time everytime I leave my house to go out!! Never owned anything brand new until now, Upgrading from a 2000 GMC jimmy. Needed something a bit bigger to tow my 4300 pound camper. I think the Silverado is up to the task. Picked up the truck this past Saturday (April 24)

Wink Congrats!!!

Congratulations!!

I know exactly how you feel, I myself bought a 2500HD CC Duramax 4x4 about 5 weeks ago, and still feel happy every time I get near the truck.

I bet you are now spending a lot more time checking the Internet, finding things that you can tweak to make it MO BETTA :-)

Re: My new Truck

Congrats on the new truck. I seriously doubt you will have any trouble with your camper, lol. My uncle had a 2002 2500 HD with the 6.0 and .410 locking diff. rear end and it was like our race car (probably 3500 lbs counting the trailor) wasnt even behind it, literally. Juts made the truck ride better, lol.

He told me once he believed it would do 100 mph up hill with it, lol. Of course it couldn't do that (they shut down at 97mph) but that's just how much power it felt like it had. It did like the gas though, lol.
