Glow Gauges

I just purchased some Glow Gauges for my 1995 Accord coupe and everywhere I go to have someone install them, they can't help me. Can some walk me through the proccess of install or provide me with link that can walk me though it. Thanx A Lot

just go buy a haynes manual for ur car. thats how i installed mines. Trust me i was in the same situation as you at one point until i bought the haynes manual. You are probably gonna need a standard tip screw driver, flat tip screw driver, maybe 8mm socket with 6" extension, crimper and wire connectors.

I thought about doin this to my accord, but I've heard a lot of stories about messing up the gauge needles. Senseiaccord, did your needles stay accurate, and if so did you do anything special to keep them that way?

oh yea i was playing with the needles when i had my cluster out... i was like pretending my car was going like 150MPH and bouncing the tach and so forth. You can move all the needles and they will still work and be accurate. The TACH and SPEEDOMETER are like spring loaded so when u move it, it will always go back to zero. The WATER TEMP moves but if u were to put the cluster upside down then it will give it that overheat look. So i think gravity brings that needle down to cold unless it is hooked up and running. The gas moves around but if u leave it in a wrong place.. it will work but simulate a different tank measurement. What i did was put a small piece of tape, placed it on the face a drew a line to match the needle... or u can just fill up ur tank and then if it moves, just bring it back to full.

When putting the faces on u gotta be careful. Whatchy wanna do is put the TACH face on and then work ur way to the right. Dont be afraid to bend the faces a lil bit. Just dont full on crease it. For the gas/water temp side... this is tricky. whatchu wanna do it put the gas side on first and then but the water temp one over. u can move the needle to make it a lil easier to put on. U might gotta bend the face a lil bit if u think u cant make it. After that just find a way to route ur wires. When wiring up for power on the gauges try to use the wires on the stock cluster that lights up a bulb for the stock gauges. U wont be needing them anymore so u can crimp it and stuff. I use the power line that connects to the stock dimmer and now my accessory illuminations dont work (stupid yea?). So learn from my mistakes.
