Unhappy 96 GC Ltd keeps shutting off

I have a 96 GCltd that done 169 K that shuts off frequently when driving. Each time it cuts off, after pulling over and coming to a dead halt, it can be re-started at the first crank of the ignition.

Most of the sensors (crank, cam, O2 etc) have been changed - the electrician at the Dealership cannot source this problem.

Could someone advise on how to get this fixed???

Thanks - Brian

Yes, try those or try asking Dale Aeppli, the Oracle of the Jeep.

Re: 96 GC Ltd keeps shutting off

Thanks for the advice - after doing a trial and error with every conceivable sensor I found out that the ECM (computer) was faulty. Replaced the ECM - no problems since then.
