Recently My 88 4.3L Blazer is difficult to start and from time to time on the road almost stalls when I hit the gas. I hit the gas it does nothing and then like 1/2 a second later starts going.. There is a very rough idle and sometimes it almost seems too powerful when I try to stop because its almost pulling against the brakes.. Help?!?!

Re: 88 Assistance needed
there is a gasket under the throtlebody that is like 2 bucks an what happens is it get sucked in and can cause a high idle and hesiataion. very easy to replace 2 fuel lines and i think 3 bolts
i can almost garintee it casue whwn i bought my 90 it did the same thing and that was the prob. just make sure u clean the old one off real good and since u have the throtlebody off give it a quick scruband a squirt with cleans. |
