Looking at new front brake pads for my r33 gtst.
I have used Bendix Ultimates which seem to stop well, but make far too much screeching at low braking speeds and dust way too much. Does anyone STRONGLY recommend a particular brand in Australia and where is it available from and how much. I don't really want to spend a fortune on brakes... |

I got mine online through AutoSpeed at www.autospeed.com
If you don't like giving your credit card no. out over the net, they will also do it over the phone. They are very quick (only 1-2 days) and very professional. Make sure when you order them that you tell them that you have the 6 spot brakes for the turbo version, as there is a different one for the non turbo. Jayson |

6-Pot you say? I just enquired at autospeed, here is what they said.
The GTS-t came with two different front calipers. A 4-pot and a 2 pot. The 4-pot uses DP1200 (DP21200 for Greenstuf, DP31200 for Redstuff, DP41200 for Yellowstuff) and the 2-pot variety use DP775 (DP2775, DP3775, etc). Both use DP826 Street Kevlar for the rear. If you drive hard on the street or want a longer lasting pad, you might consider Redstuff for the front. All prices below are for an axle set (left and right inside and outside pads). EBC Greenstuff Roadsport Pads - [DP21200] ----------------------------------------- Price: $242.00 EBC Redstuff Brake Pads - [DP31200] ----------------------------------- Price: $294.25 EBC Greenstuff Roadsport Pads - [DP2775] ---------------------------------------- Price: $164.45 EBC Redstuff Brake Pads - [DP3775] ---------------------------------- Price: $218.90 EBC Street Kevlar Brake Pads - [DP826] -------------------------------------- Price: $82.50 |

God I'm stupid
![]() ![]() ![]() I mean 4 spot fronts. I don't believe that I wrote 6 spot before, just wishing I suppose. Sorry I would personally stay with the Green Stuff's. I have a mate with a MR2 (I know it's heaps lighter) but he said that after 3 real hard laps of Wakefield with Green Stuff's he doesn't get any fade. I think the Red's would be a touch to hard (higher temp rating) for the street. J |
