Re: jdm d15 swap

you can use your tranny or get a Si one. Or a zc only prob is final drive is going to give you high rpms in 5th. Basicly any d tranny will work for ya. Better gas mileage is going to be your dx tranny racing i would use the si one.

Re: jdm d15 swap

i have the zc tranny in my car. I love it! i'm getting like 28-29 mpg even with me running 4000 rpms at 80mph. It really likes 90 mph at around 4250 rpms. just hummms right along.

Re: jdm d15 swap

um you can use ANY d-series transmission that you choose. Some are better than others though. If you use a 92+ tranny you need to convert to hydoylic transmission. (like 2 brackets)

Oh and typo you had. its a D15B VTEC not b15 vtec

Re: jdm d15 swap

I got 'em for you, $500 shipped, Longblock only. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested or have ??'s, I've done this swap a dozen times and I think that the D15BVTEC is my current favorite amond motors for the 4th gen...
