89 prelude
My friend has an 89 Prelude that has a clutch that seems to be going out. When he tries to start the car, regardless of how long it's been turned off, the clutch sinks to the floor without any resistance. He has to lift it and pump it several times before it will allow him to put the car in 1st. Any ideas on this?
Thanks Jae Hoon

Re: 89 prelude
Clutch master cylinder maybe leaking or low on fluid?

Re: 89 prelude
Clutch plates are fine. Like stated by "PRELEWD", your either leaking fluid... any drips?... or the master OR slave cylinder is failing. Rebuild kits are easy and inexpensive... just replace the "O" rings on the piston of the master/slave cylinder.
