wire harness

ok ok so im still thinking about puttin in the d16z6 in my 91 hb. i've got the ecu from the 94 civic the motor came from but not the wire harness. what do i do. can i use the factory d15 harness and wire in a switch for vtec or should i buy a whole new harness, if so how might i come across one.

you can rewire the current harness....or buy a piggyback harness which would essentially make the ecu plug and play...you'd just have to run like 6 wires into the engine bay....

the guy marked001 mentioned has been doing it for a couple of years now. i have sent many people to him. i have bought 1 myself. not only will you get a working harness but he sends detailed instructions & pics of the dizzy plug that needs to be repinned. or at least he used to...i know i got that with my harness.





the 8 (not 6 ) taped wires are the ones to be extended. 1 side of the harness plugs into the ecu and the other side into your stock harness

thanks amy i'll keep that guy in mind. gonna try to get the stock d15 head back on tonight. i miss diving my little go-kart! i've done a full valve job and all new gaskets with new timing belt. hopefully the bottom end holds up.
