DOHC ZC Vs. SOHC D16 Vtec
Wich of the two motors listed above would be a better swap for a 1988-1991 civic hatchback and would a d16 transmission and ecu fit a dohc zc motor and also would i need new motor mounts for any of the swaps.

Re: DOHC ZC Vs. SOHC D16 Vtec
What motor do you have now, and how much money can or do you want to spend. The ZC is a D series, so the D16 tranny will bolt up to either engine, same with the mounts. If you have the 1.6l already, I'd probably just do the Vtec, but it all depends.
