XM Radio Installation

2003 4-runner.. I am installing a XM Satellite Radio in my 4 Runner and need to get to the antenna connection on the AM/FM radio. How do I remove or slide the radio out of the dash to get to this connection ? Or is there another way without taking the radio out ? Any security concerns pulling the radio out of the dash if I don't disconnect the power ?? Iam installing a "direct connect" FM modulator box that switches from the car antenna to the XM receiver output.

Thanks much

I have a 2002 4runner w/ the 6 CD Changer.. I didn't install the XM myself, but when it was installed it was hooked directly to the back of the head unit (and I hit CD twice when I want to listen to XM). Don't know if this applies to you or not, but at least you then don't have to get the FM modulator.
