Need Detailing Advice

I have a '97 Civic that has no work put into it. I will only have it for another year and a half... is it worth detailing? If so, what should I start with? I hate driving the car right now so any suggestions would be great, thanks!

Re: Need Detailing Advice

Its all on you. Do you think the car deserves it? Actually..to tell you the truth, whether or not your going to keep the car or sell the car.....detailing goes a loooooong way versus your average car wash. Plus...if you get it detailed now and then once again b4 you sell it, i almost garuntee that you'll get you'r askin price. Reason being...if a "good" detailer does the work..the car will look better than new...quote me on that. I just did a green '97 civic 2 wks ago...when i started the car looked like it drove 100 miles thru a trash pit...it was NASTY!!!!.....but midway into it while i was taking off the teflon, im up here gettin comments from everybody...gettin free pizza, all that. Bottom line is, you'll feel much better after the detail. You look good right?....why not the both of you shine together??!!!

Awww thank you!! What a charmer!

Thanks for the advice, I'm definately going to get it detailed now. The more money I can get for it, the better. Also, it would be nice to have fun driving it for once! Thank ya much!!

Re: Need Detailing Advice

Of course its worth it.Any person that sells cars will tell you that a clean car will get you more money.Besides, you dont want people walking by making comments or counting how many bird crap stains there are on the hood.Do you?
