will this work?

I wasn't getting any response in the ext. section , so i'll ask here. Can I get a dual exhaust tip put on my 90 accord? I really cant stand the way the muffler looks right now , and I need something to make it look better, but I dont want a muffler. Just a way to make it look better until I get an exhaust system. Here's the one I was thinking about

It looks pictured upside down. Most EX's have a dual tip coming out of the muffler. I would say depending on the dimensions that it could work. It's just that if you remove the muffler it could get loud. It sounds like you want looks for appearance. If the dimensions are correct, you may be able to bolt up a shorter muffler to your twin tips and not annoy the rest of the population.:bandit:

Remove the muffler? I was just talking about cutting the end piping , and getting this welded to it. But I wasnt sure if it would work , or sound good. Does anybody know if an exhaust tip with a resonator sounds good?

most resonating tips sound like ass. if you want the sound of a fart pipe/ 5000 insane bumblesbees in your muffler then i guess you would like it but otherwise don't get it. go to autozone and go to the exhaust pipe section and get a little twin tip thing. they have em that aren't resonating and they just bolt on.

I thought resonators were meant to decrease the sound... does anyone actually have an exhaust tip with a resonator , if so tell me how it sounds..

On most of the cat back systems I've seen the resonator is before the muffler. This one seem to be after the muffler. Greddy's system is really low bass in sound. Apex-i system is a little louder. What you have there looks like a Pace Setter product. I haven't heard them yet but there's got to be some one who has.
