max tire size for 2002 Silverado 2500HD

Hello,

I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4x4 Extended Cab that currently has 245's. What is the largest tire that I can go with without lifting the truck? I have heard 285's, but I also heard that they may rub. I'm looking for a nice tire. Could someone make a suggestion on
which tire would look good on this model truck.

Thanks

according to the chart at ntw 265/75'2 shoudl be ok but the 285's will probably rub.

My friend has 285 Dueler MT's that don't rub one bit on his 2002 2500HD 4door 4x4
