Re: Supra Question?

The 2jzgte motor is very reliable, it is a bulletproof motor and a bottom-end that only the v8 boys wished came in their cars. When it comes to modding there are basically two things you can do. Build it for the dragstrip/street or build it for the dyno. MKIV's will last a thousand HP on a stock bottom end, sometimes more. There are no major probelms that come across like the old 7m motor head gaskets in the MKIII. The major problem is getting the pwer to the ground, the higher in HP you get, the harder it is to put it to the ground efficently. It just depends on what you want to do.
