Unhappy prostart remote starter won't work

I have a 1991 cherokee sport and the remote starter won't work. It makes a clicking sound as though it's working but no power out to the starter and such. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this? It's a prostart ct3100.

Whiterhino, don't worry about him, he's gone, and he's a moron. Just wait for another response from someone who knows how to help.

Re: prostart remote starter won't work

What do you mean that it "clicks"? These systems are real simple. What I would do is visit www.bulldogsecurity.com and look up your vehicle information. Then you can trace each wire to see if it does what it needs to do. My initial thought is that either the fuse blew for the starter output or maybe even an ignition. Now, I have seens some Prostarts have problems within themselves so it might be time for replacement. Sorry, I do not have an install manual on those. Maybe you could do a search on the net????

Re: Re: prostart remote starter won't work

It ended up being the battery in the remote, not enough juice to make everything go.

Re: prostart remote starter won't work

Never heard a remote start doing what you say. Mine either work or don't no matter what the remote's battery is like.
