Agila. The smallest car of Opel is a vehicle easy for drive, with two petrol engines, a 3-cylinder 1.0-litre with 58 HP and a 4-cylinder 1.2-litre 16 valve with 75 HP, also a diesel engine 1.3-litre CDTI MultiJet Technology with 70 HP. This car was developed between Suzuki and GM.





Corsa. This is a balanced city-car, sober in mechanic power and brilliant in its interior space, with balanced prices and a full equipment. 3-cylinder petrol engines: 1.0-litre 58 HP. 4-cylinder petrol engines: 1.2-litre 75 HP, 1.4-litre 90 HP, 1.8-litre 122 HP. Diesel engines 1.3-litre CDTI MultiJet Technology 70 HP and a 1.7 CDTI 'Common-Rail System' 100 HP.







Tigra Twin-Top: The last Opel is a new convertible with a hard electric top. Based on the Corsa, the Tigra Twin-Top uses its engines (except diesel CDTI).



Meriva. The small MPV of Opel, is a modulable car based on the Corsa, but with more wheelbase (2,60-Meriva than 2,49-Corsa). Petrol engines 1.6 8 valve 84 HP, 1.6 16 valve 100 HP, 1.8 16 valve 122 HP, Diesel engines CDTI 1.7-litre 100 HP.





Astra. The compact model of Opel is a modern car, launched at March 2004. With petrol engines 16 valve 1.4-litre 90 HP, 1.6-litre 100 HP, 1.8-litre 122 HP, 2.0-litre Turbo 170 HP and diesel engines 1.7 CDTI with 80 or 100 HP. The Astra has got a clean and dynamic design, with a power character and balanced prices.





Astra Coupe and Caravan. Based on the anterior generation of the Astra (1998-2004)





Zafira. Based on the Astra 1998-2004, this medium-size MPV is very roomy, transporting 7 persons with the innovatory system FLEX 7. Same engines of the Astra. (Add to the lineup two engines, a petrol engine 2.0-litre Turbo 192 HP and a Diesel engine 2.2-litre with 125 HP)





Vectra. The medium-size family car is elegant and powerful. Opel uses for the Vectra the 'Ypsilon' platform of GM (For example, the new Chevy Malibu it's using same platform). Petrol engines 1.8-litre 122 HP, 2.2-litre 145 HP, 2.0-litre Turbo 175 HP and 3.2-litre V6 211 HP and Diesel engines 2.0 DTI 100 HP, 2.2 DTI 125 HP and a new 3.0 CDTI V6 with 177 HP.

Speedster. A radical sports car... radical design, radical engines, radical caracter, only for 2 persons. Powerful, sporty and uncomfortable. Petrol engines 2.2-litre 147 HP and 2.0-litre Turbo 190 HP (Versión Speedster Turbo)

Is the Speedster really an uncomfortable ride? I heard that the ingress/egress was difficult due to the wide sill, low height and tight quarters, but nothing worse than you would expect from a Miata or MR2.

Is the Speedster that much more painful?

You forgot astra cabrio and the new caravan, movano ,combo, vivaro. Movano and Vivaro vere made with Renault. Frontera was made with Isuzu. Combo is based on corsa. Tigra will have onley 1.4 and 1.8 engines for now. New Astra will also have 200hp 2.0 engine and opc version (around 240hp). Sopme pictures:

Speedster is nice to drive, but not every day (your back will hurt), it is a sunday drive. It was a project with Lotus.
