Help: Checking Transmission fluid
Does anyone know where the dip stick is to check the transmission fluid? My manual only shows were it is for an automatic and its not the same for manual. I looked around but i'm having trouble spotting it.
Thanks, K |

I don't know, but I was curious when you should change the manual tranny fluid. The manual only have intervals for the auto...

The MT doesn't have a dipstick. There's a bolt on the side of the tranny, the fluid should be right under the threads for that bolt. You can check it by dipping your clean finger in it. If your thinking it's time, just change it. All you have to do is drain and fill to the bottom of the bolt. Recommended fluid is GL-4. Refer to FSM for how much.
