acoustic resonance woofer... need to know what this is!

hey, my dad bought a tired and rusted 86 toyota pickup for $175 (running, actually not too bad). when he got it, hooked up to the radio (not stock) was this heavy black almost luggage looking thing. it says ARW and acoustic resonance woofer (hence the ARW) on the side, and on the what would be the front (not the broad side, but the skinny front) is a small mesh grate where i'm guessing the sound comes out (duh... lol). anyway, on the label on the bottom it says:

model no. 08691-00821
12v 4 (ohm symbol) NOM. 20w
catalog no. SB-1242TM2
FUJITSU TEN LIMITED

anyone have any clue where i can find anything on this beast? i've looked up fujitsu ten limited, and they have a site... in japanese (since it also says made in japan i'm assuming that's the language). also, on the back it's got a 6 wire connector (and of course my dad didn't trace the wires before he cut the bundle...) and a norm/reverse "phase" switch and a level dial. any info much appreciated... and if you don't have info on this specific thing can you guys tell me a lil about acoustic resonance woofers? i think it still works, so it'll go in my 94 accord if i can get it hooked up (i have no money... lol). thanks, J

if the "20w" means 20 watts is crap so you can go ahead and throw it away, its probalby dated 80's technology.
