Clear Coat Question

I've been applying Dupli-Color's top coat and it's been taking quite a few cans for the mutliple areas i've need to fix. What i've been buying comes in the mini-spray cans (i kept thinking "just one more") so i broke down and got a larger can on top of the last small one i have. My question is that on the back of the mini can it says "...is an acrylic based laquer". On the back of the larger can it says just the word "laquer" and "do not use Laquer over existing air-dried enamel paints". So i'm curious as to if the Laquer will decay the Arcylic Laquer.
Thanks for any help
Eric
