dynamic racing?

is dynamicracing.com have the best upgrades for turbos?cuz im looking at either the dynamic racing T3-T4 turbo kit for 5999.00 or the GT-PRO 368-SX Turbo set for 3249.00 or the DN IHI Ball Bearing Turbo Kit for 5899.00. im tring to make my future vr4 with some huge power over 600 or 700hp at the wheels and still being able to drive it on the street.does anyone on this forum have these?if so are they good or bad or is anything else better?and keep in mid yes i will build the engine and all that good stuff so it will be able to handle what turbos i have but since the turbo is the one of the most expensive things i will buy i wanna know whats best.if the t3-t4 are the best i want them cuz they make over 1000hp .so u see my intentions so leave me a bunch of feedback so i have a better idea on my old eclipse i had a t-60 and it had a bunch of lag but when it had boost DAMMMM it flew.so im out peace

I wish i could help you on that one.I like the 368-SX's but thats just IMO.But then again...i also like the IHI BB turbo's too.So i guess i shouldn't be anwsering your question huh?I dont know of any 3000GT (VR-4) that has made over 700hp.But you can be the first.If you do end up doing such a thing please tell us your how it go's and if you can take some pics.Good luck.

i know Matt Monett from Dynamic racing has the record for the fastest 1/4 and i'm pretty sure he did it with 368's. I know he has upgraded to DR-1000's and it would seem that he should be able to break his record with his new turbos so I really don't know what to tell ya other than talk to him or other people. Go onto 3si.org or try and call dynamic and see what they have to say.

dont worry ill find out i still got time before i buy this vr4 im in no rush i got enough cars now i have 6 no 7 is alot lol.and dsm u better believe ill post pics cuz ill need them for insurance when i put coverage on it cuz when im putting 35g's into a car i want to have proof of every damn thing

I've heard that basically when upgrading, that after a certain point the TD-05 housing turbos didn't offer that much of a gain. With the exceptions of Matt and another guy. But most havn't seen a substantial gain after the 15Gs.
There are 4 guys who have broken into the 10s and none of them have 1000hp, or even 800 i think. Those turbos are said to be able to handle 1000hp, they wont give it to you. Also realize all 4 of these guys have heavily affiliated with tuner shops, this means they have money to put towards their cars. Anyone can dump 6 grand into their vr4 and get 11s, but you will need 10s of 10s of thousands to get faster...don't think it will be easy or cheap. Also realize that with TD-05 housing turbos you will need to fabricate some stuff to make them fit, you will have more noticeable lag which isn't ideal for daily driving/street racing, only drag.

for a decent guide to choosing a turbo upgrade. 5-6 grand for just the turbos seems quite alot, I would think you could find much better prices than that.

and theres a guy on this forum hes from canada and hes at 9.13 @171mph and hes not sponsored or nothing so i know its possible for me to do that

You really should read the entire thread before you go quoting people. If you get up to 171mph in the quarter you will be lower than 9.13.

im pretty sure thats not true that would be the fastest and as far as not over 700 hp, on an engine dyno we got 789 without any tuning just slap on the components and tested it out so its definately possible

And there is noone that runs a 9.13 in a vr4 that has proved it with a timeslip. unless they have just the vr4 body put on another car, but there is no vr4 that has been recorded to run that fast, and if he ran 171 I would think he'd be in the low 8s.

The guy who ran 9 whatever at 170 something was lieing. Does no one remember this guy? I called him out on it. He stole every picture of "his" car from someone I know. Its a chicagoland car, and the pictures were on cardomain and 3si.
