fuel pump help

I bought a 97 3000GT SL on ebay a couple weeks ago, only problem with it is that it does not start. I am not getting power to the fuel pump.... Next step is to check the fuel pump relay... only problem is I can't find it!!! I have a cd manual which shows the relay behind the fuse box. I also found a site that said the relay was right under the bracket holding the fuse box. Any good hints on where I can find this guy, and what I should look for besides a relay with a black cover?

Thanks!

i just looked in the shop manual and the fuel pump relay is mounted directly below the bracket that holds the fuse box. This is also directly above the front part of the transmission. Removing the air cleaner will provide very easy access to it.

ok, next question....

any reason why the previous owner would move the relay somewhere else? That's exactly where I have been looking and haven't been able to find it so far.
