swap of injection to carb need help
need to know if i need to swap intakes and if so is a 2.8 out of a 82 s-10 the same 2.8 block as the 86 s-10 i have the carb and distributer from the 82 and the wireing harness just need to now if i can do it!
any help will be greatly helpful t/y!!!

yes....you do have to swap intakes, i have an 87 that the motor blew up and we put an 86 motor in it w/carb but we kept the fuel injection off the 87 just swap the intake and distributor and you will be good to go
