Idle, Vtec?
at what rpms do preludes usually idle at? also at what rpms does the vtec kick in? just makin sure. Thanks

IAB activates at 4600RPM, the VTEC solenoid activates at 4900RPM. This is on the OBD1 p13 from 93-96 Prelude VTEC's.
On the OBDII ECU from the +97 Preludes, I believe the two solenoids activate a little bit later. VTEC is at 5200RPM, and I forgot exactly where IAB engagement is at. It should be around 4900RPM. EDIT: Yup, it is 4900rpm.
