favorite links

hey I just got this idea, so lemme know what you guys think.

one of the reasons I love off topic so much is because of all the great links members share. whether it be a link to entertaining websites, or funny videos, etc.

now the problem is that we go through threads so quickly in off-topic that if there is a good link then by the next day it may be 3 pages deep and i have to search for it to save the link or whatever.

So anyway my suggestion is to have a mod make a sticky of all our favorite links. we can submit them and what not, past or present to form a compilation of all our favorite links.

alright the idea is out there lets see what you guys think.

Re: favorite links

In theory it sounds like a good idea but that thread will be huge and the links will be lost in pages upon pages of links thus defeating the purpose, wouldn't it be easier for you to just bookmark them after viewing something you want to re-visit?

no i don't think that would be a problem, i mean i'm not suggesting having a link then people comment on it like we do know ( which would take up immense amounts of room), just one list of them and thats it you know, i think the only problem would be dead links after awhile.

You should post this in the I Want Change forum - otherwise this suggestion will be on page three before you know it.

Re: favorite links

why not start a thread and post them in the WEBSITE DISCUSSION FORUM? The thread is far less likely to get buried there.
