thinkin about doing d16z6
I have access to a d16z6 from a 94 civic, 130,000 miles on it. The motor smokes black smoke at high rpm, but pulled stong before it was taken out of the car. I was told that it needed new crank bearings and piston seals. If i do that, and im thinking about maybe building the motor, bore the motor, bigger pistons, new rods, valve job. how much would a piston set cost and and what are some of you better pistons to go with that dont cost a fortune.

Well you can always look for someone selling oem replacement ones that they took out. But good ones can go from 300+.
