Wiring
I have 2 single voice coil subwoofers and an amp that is 2 ohm stereo stable. How would I need to wire these up? (Parallel or series)

I have a 2 channel amp right now so would I just hook them both into one channel? Sorry for all the questions, kinda new to this.

Re: Wiring
ah shit I forgot you said you had a stereo amp
You have two choices, either wire the subs in parallel and attach them to one channel, or wire each sub to each channel individually. Either way should give you about the same amount of power going to each sub, and neither will optimise the setup. I would just wire each sub to each channel.

What is different between a stereo amp and a regular amp?

Re: Wiring
Well, the only differences between amps (ignoring different classes) is the number of channels. At first I was thinking you said you had a mono amp that was 2ohm stable. But in fact you have a 2ch amp that is 2ohm stable per channel, which means it's only 4ohm stable when bridged (combining both channels into one, so it acts like a mono amp). Because it's a 2ch amp and it isn't stable at 2ohm bridged then you have to wire each sub to each channel separately. This will give you whatever the stereo 4ohm power rating is.
