Rear main seal leak in 92 AWD
Have a bad leak from the rear main. Can find very little info on replacement because it is AWD. The AWD is making it quite difficult. Have had several vans and had no trouble with replacement. Experienced mechanic, but without a lift this job stinks. Any suggestions? Do I need to pull the tranny, or would the motor be "easier"?

Unbolt the PTU (Power Transfer Unit) from the tranny and then pull the tranny. Bit of a stinker on the floor, but when you don't have a choice??
