Angry Wheel Hop! How do I fix?????

My Truck when the road is a little wet or even on dry pavement I have some wheel hop. I have a 04 SBRC 2WD 5.3 Automatic 3.73 with a locker, and I can't really tell the dealership that when I spin my tires I get wheel hop..... The'll want to void my warranty right there. I don't want to do that. I dont to put a torsion bar on the leaf spring cause its a bad band-aid fix. I want to fix the real problem. Anyong have this problem? and had it fixed. Got any ideas?

Re: Wheel Hop! How do I fix?????

I'd say you're just stuck with it buddy. I mean you have no weight back there! But if you wanted to shell out the money and time, then either one of the two rear suspensions you mentioned would help, but I'd say BOTH would void your warranty.

Re: Wheel Hop! How do I fix?????

Yeah I was afraid of that lol
I would love a 4 Link but... I would rather have a warranty to love though.
....Maby its the tires..Hummm...
The tires I have now, only have 6000Mi on them just like the rest of the truck. or rotate them
I guess i'll have to wait till I get new tires when I get some 20" ers.
Im still at a loss....haha

Re: Wheel Hop! How do I fix?????

Well, you could always lower the air pressure of the rear tires, but that will cause them to wear out faster.

Re: Wheel Hop! How do I fix?????

I think that the ladder bars would work good. I've installed a set on a 79 f-150 w/35's that had really bad wheelhop when it spun. Installed a set from Napa and it killed the problem completely.
